What a day – our sister is married. Congrats to the two of you, we are happy to have Charlie around, and wish you both the best! Going to do this one a little differently – each of us are going to write a paragraph for Alyssa and Charlie.

Jason:

I remember the day Alyssa was born, was minding my own business as a two year old then all of the sudden, there is a baby around. This was my show, I was not meant to share it! After a few weeks, I was glad she was around, someone to play with, you know?? In all seriousness, it was great growing up with Alyssa, and eventually Alex. I am proud of the woman she has become, and it was so much fun celebrating your wedding day this past weekend!

I hope that I can continue to be there for you, and make you laugh for years to come. My duty as a brother has not ended, and I will continue on my pursuit to be the best brother ever. Alex can be a close second.

Happy for you! Happy for Charlie! You are great for each other and I know you will have many many happy years ahead.

Alex:

Hrm, wasn’t prepared to write a speech so here goes nothing. For those of you who don’t know me my name is Alex and I am Alyssa’s brother. I don’t remember the day Alyssa was born because I was just a figment of my parents imagination then, but I vividly remember meeting Alyssa my first day in the world and watching all of her joy slip away with the realization that she was no longer the prized baby of the family and would be demoted to middle-child. Luckily for her though we grew close very quickly and could team up against the actual enemy of the family, the older brother.

Alyssa and I got very close during high school, me having girl problems and her having math problems. I don’t remember specifics, but there were countless days and nights hanging out in her room chatting and “solving” each others problems. Jumping forward to today we still have these chats often, they just happen on Saturday nights through snapchat after 1-2* beers.

I couldn’t be happier that Alyssa found Charlie and they can continue their lives together as a married couple. She deserves the world and I love to see her getting it. Thank you for letting me capture your day, it was a blast!
